My most ambitious work to date, Circumstantial Zen
is also, unsurprisingly, the benefactor of almost a complete year’s
dedication which, for me at least, is an eternity for any focused musical
effort as I usually spend a matter of weeks on my albums. That said,
Circumstantial Zen is a conglomeration of a lot of contrasting influences,
ideas and tones…. Which is what happens for me in a year’s time. At the same
time, I am firm on the idea that the concept of the album is best exemplified
by just that. So I guess that one actually worked ;) |
